7 students awarded president's scholarship for A-Level results

The scholarship is awarded to students who obtain an A* grade in five A-Level subjects, including Dhivehi and Islamic Studies.
This year's recipients include four students from the Centre for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), one student from Villa International High School, one from Gn. Atoll Education Centre and one from Al-Madhrasathul Arabiyyathul Islamiyya (Arabiyya School).

The President's Scholarship covers the cost of pursuing higher education in a country chosen by the recipient.
The government offers two national awards based on A-Level performance. The President's Scholarship is awarded to students who achieve A* grades in five subjects, including Dhivehi and Islamic Studies, while the High Achievers Award is presented to students who obtain A grades in five subjects, including the same compulsory subjects.
During the ceremony, President Dr Mohamed Muizzu also recognised students who achieved the highest results in last year's A-Level examinations.
In the previous examination cycle, 23 students secured first place nationally. Four students also achieved first place nationally and globally in individual subjects:

President Muizzu presented the scholarships and awards during the ceremony held on Sunday night.
