Maldives Police Service on Saturday called for information and evidence related to the ongoing investigation into the Binveriya land and Gedhoruveriya housing schemes.
The appeal follows the release of documents on Wednesday, which alleged that land plots were allocated to individuals not included on the official list. On Thursday, Prosecutor General Abbas Shareef instructed the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and police to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the landlord and the related scheme.
Police have urged the public to provide any relevant documents or information via the agency's evidence portal at https://evidence.police.gov.mv.
Individuals submitting evidence have the option to remain anonymous. Alternatively, contact information can be provided if investigators require further clarification.
