The Civil Service Commission (CSC) on Wednesday opened applications for membership following the resignation of its Vice President, Ibrahim Rasheed, on Tuesday.
Rasheed stepped down as Parliament began impeachment proceedings against him.
According to the President’s Office, applications for the vacant post will be accepted until Wednesday. Interested candidates can submit their applications directly to the office within the given timeframe.
Meanwhile, the Independent Institutions Committee has initiated the process to formally remove Rasheed from office. He was originally appointed during the previous administration.
