Four people were injured when a cargo boat travelling from Malé to Lhaviyani Atoll Naifaru capsized on Thursday.
According to the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), the vessel, identified as Nasru, had five people on board at the time of the incident. All five were rescued and transferred to a Coast Guard vessel.

MNDF reported that four of the crew members sustained injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment. One of them is in critical condition.
The cargo boat has since sunk.
