According to the court order, both men are suspected of possessing sharp and dangerous weapons.
Police arrested the pair after receiving information about a clash between two groups. Details presented to the court include:

Shamah was stopped and searched, and a cutter was found in his hand. He said it was used for cutting nails and told police he had previously been involved in fights but no longer engages in such activities. He also stated he is now a drug addict.

Naveen was searched, and a cutter was found under the seat of his motorcycle. A police officer told the court that Naveen said at the scene the cutter had been used to stab someone. Naveen later told the court the motorcycle belonged to his father and he was unaware of the cutter’s presence.
The court order, signed by Criminal Court Judge Ibrahim Zihny, stated that the investigating officer would present further details at the next hearing, including the suspects’ possible connections to the group involved in the clash.
Police have not released additional information on the incident.
