A man was arrested Sunday evening from B. Thulhadhoo for allegedly blackmailing a person with the threat of pornographic materials and trying to extort money.
According to the police, the case was reported on Friday.
"A 31-year-old local man has been arrested on the night of December 4 under a court order in connection with the case," police said.
