The vacancies arose following the retirement of one High Court judge last week and the resignation of another judge in November.
Justice Mohamed Niyaz retired from the High Court last week, marking the end of his tenure. The other vacancy resulted from a resignation submitted in November.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the High Court said eligible candidates must submit their applications by 21 January.
According to the announcement, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be a Sunni Muslim

Not hold an elected or appointed political office

Not be a member of a political party

Not have been convicted of a criminal offence involving dishonesty, fraud, or bribery
The remuneration package for a High Court judge includes:

Basic salary: MVR 45,700
