The Maldives Meteorological Service (MET) has forecast below-average rainfall across the Maldives during March.
The Met Office said current conditions include calm seas and light winds across the country. It said similar conditions are expected to continue through the month.
According to the forecast, northern atolls are likely to receive lower-than-normal rainfall. Rainfall is expected at times in the central and southern atolls.
The Met Office said both maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be slightly above average nationwide during the month.
