2 missing after speedboat overturns near Felidhoo
Police said three people sustained injuries and are receiving treatment at Vaavu Atoll Hospital.
A search operation is underway for two people reported missing after a speedboat carrying tourists capsized near V. Felidhoo early Friday morning, police said.
Police said the incident was reported at 1:15am.
According to police, seven people were on board the speedboat. They include two women from the United Kingdom and Russia, and five men from India.
Police said five individuals were swept into the sea following the incident. They include a woman from Russia and four men from India.
Two Indian men remain missing.
