A 14-year-old boy who was electrocuted in L. Gan has been transferred to Malé for further medical treatment.
According to the Maldives Police Service, authorities received a report of the incident at approximately 11:15 PM on Tuesday night.
Police stated that the child initially received treatment at Gan Regional Hospital before being transferred to Malé at around 8:15 AM on Wednesday for advanced care.
Details regarding the extent of the injuries and the child’s current condition have not yet been disclosed.
Police said investigations into the incident are ongoing.
