HPA relocates headquarters to Manhattan Grand Hotel in Hulhumalé
HPA is the first government institution to relocate its operations to the Manhattan Grand Hotel building.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has relocated its headquarters and public services to the Manhattan Grand Hotel building in Hulhumalé Phase 1.
The agency previously operated from the Roashanee Building in Malé, which also houses the Ministry of Health.
According to a public announcement issued on Saturday, services at the new location will begin on Sunday.
HPA said its headquarters is now located on the second floor of the Manhattan Grand Hotel building, situated next to the Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) office in Hulhumalé.
"With this relocation, all services previously provided by this agency will now be accessible through our customer service counter established on the second floor of the Manhattan Grand Hotel building," the agency said in its statement.
HPA is the first government institution to relocate its operations to the Manhattan Grand Hotel building.
Several other state institutions are also expected to move into the facility.
The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has previously announced that the ground floor of the building will serve as a Media Village, with 34 office spaces allocated for media organisations.
