Maldives holds talks with Saudi, Oman on financial issues

Finance minister Ibrahim Ameer has held discussions with the governments of Saudi Arabia and Oman on financial and economic issues.
Ameer and senior government officials arrived in Oman last week. They are now in Saudi Arabia.
Ameer held discussions with the Oman government on financial issues during a visit to the country last week. In a meeting with Oman's finance minister Sultan bin Salim al Habsi on Tuesday, the two ministers had:

Exchanged views on financial matters of mutual interest to the two countries

Discussed areas where the two countries can work together
During his three-day visit to Oman, minister Ameer also met Salim bin Nasser bin Said al Aufi, Oman’s Minister of Energy and Minerals and discussed ways to boost economic and energy cooperation between the two countries.
Apart from Oman, Ameer is also in Saudi Arabia to meet senior officials of the country. According to a tweet by the Finance Ministry on Friday:

However, none of the governments have come out with details of any of these discussions. The finance ministry has not yet made public the details of the trip.
