A woman who is believed to have fallen from a house in Henveiru ward of capital Male on Monday evening has died.
The 32-year-old Maldivian woman, who was brought to IGMH after falling from a Henveiru building around 8.05 pm, was declared dead on arrival.
Witnesses told Atoll Times that she fell from the sixth floor of the building where Cafe Talent is located. The cause of the fall is yet to be ascertained.
Photos of the fallen woman showed that she had made impact face-down. Blood was visible on the road where she had landed. The area has been cordoned off and the police are active there.
A four-year-old boy, who had fallen from the balcony of a sixth-floor apartment, also in Henveiru on Sunday night, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital on Monday.
