Two children who were riding past a concrete mixer truck that overturned in Hulhumale Phase II on Friday morning, as well as the driver of the truck, were taken to hospital immediately for treatment.
The accident took place around 7:35am when the truck which was driving past the Industrial Zone of Hulhumale Phase II, overturned, the police said.
According to a message sent to the media by the police:

Two 13-year-old boys, who were riding bicycles from the area at the time, were injured

Truck driver injured; no further details about him yet

All of them are undergoing treatment at Hulhumale Hospital
The condition of the injured is not immediately clear as Hulhumale Hospital did not respond to phone calls.
Police did not specify the cause of the incident. Police said they are looking into the matter and are investigating the matter.
