Customs authorities in Maldives have seized 10.4 kg heroin from a man who had arrived from Pakistan.
In a statement, Customs said on Monday that the 25-year-old man, who arrived in Maldives from Faisalabad, was questioned and his luggage was checked due to suspicions.

Customs said the Pakistani man and the drugs recovered from him have been handed over to the police for further investigation.
Four Pakistani nationals, who had arrived in the Maldives recently, have also been arrested with drugs. They were all trying to smuggle it by swallowing.
