All Maldivian pilgrims who went to Hajj this year have now returned.
A total of 1,000 people from Maldives went to Hajj this year. The first group of pilgrims returned on July 7 and the last group arrived in Maldives on Friday. Vice President Faisal Naseem met and greeted them at the airport.

Faisal was also in charge of the Hajj pilgrims from Maldives this year.
The Hajj Corporation sent the largest number of pilgrims from Maldives. This year, three private groups also went for Hajj.
Four of the Maldivian pilgrims died in Mecca this year.
