EC confirms ballot boxes in 4 countries
Election Commission Vice-President and Spokesperson Ismail Habeeb urged people to re-register as soon as possible.

Elections Commission has confirmed that ballot boxes will be placed in four countries for the upcoming presidential election.
The confirmed countries are India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and the United Kingdom.
The other four countries that the Elections Commission has opened for re-registration are Singapore, Thailand, UAE - Abu Dhabi, and Japan.
The deadline for re-registration by submitting forms physically to the commission is 4pm on Saturday. People who have not yet registered can do so online or by submitting a form to the election headquarters at Dharubaaruge.
Elections Commission Vice-President and Spokesperson Ismail Habeeb urged people to re-register as soon as possible. He said that the number of polling stations in the four countries will be determined based on the number of re-registrations.
