Shore protection of Addu Hithadhoo begins

Shore protection in Addu Hithadhoo began on Wednesday.
Planning minister Mohamed Aslam inaugurated the project at a ceremony held in Addu.
The project includes:

Shore protection of 570 meters on west side of Hithadhoo

Deepening of area of 15×50 metres

Designated area for swimming

A 100-metre breakwater with rocks
