The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Monday authorities not to indulge in corrupt practices in the transition phase.
The ACC on Monday issued a statement directing government agencies, offices, institutions, government and government-owned companies to maintain a certain amount of vigilance in order to reduce corruption. They include:
-
Not starting entirely new projects
-
Not to follow methods that may lead to corruption in expenditure and not to spend on new decisions except those that are necessary
-
Do not sign agreements for new projects that have not been budgeted or planned in advance
-
Not to make such decisions if there is a possibility that they may lead to an act of corruption
-
Keep documents safe and do not destroy any documents related to money, business and transactions
-
All these issues should be addressed by those in responsible positions in offices, agencies, companies and institutions
