President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Monday appointed Ibrahim Shaheeb as the Maldivian High Commissioner to India, and Ali Hussain Didi as the High Commissioner to Malaysia.
President Solih presented the letter of appointment to the two new high commissioners, at a ceremony held at the President’s Office Monday morning.
Shaheeb:

Completed his Masters in Public Administration from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in Singapore

Earlier, he served as the Chief of Protocol and Additional Secretary at the foreign ministry
Ali Hussain Didi:
-
Completed his Post Graduate Diploma and MSc in Transport Management and Planning from the Loughborough University of Technology in the UK.

He had previously served as the High Commissioner to Sri Lanka and the Maldivian ambassador to the European Union and the Kingdom of Belgium
-
His previous postings include Controller of Immigration, the President of Male Municipal Council and Chief Executive Officer at the Maldives Airports Company.
