
Muizzu likely to appoint 9 President's Office ministers
Incumbent President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has four ministers at the President's Office.
President-elect Dr Mohamed Muizzu will appoint at least nine ministers at the President's Office, it is learnt.
With President-elect Muizzu taking office a week away, the names of the key positions in the government have almost been decided. From reliable sources in the PPM-PNC, Atoll Times has received the names of some of the candidates for key positions.
The following are expected to become ministers in the President's Office:

Incumbent President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has four ministers at the President's Office.
Muizzu has decided to cap political positions at 700, including those in the President's Office. According to this year's budget book, there are more than 1,000 political positions in the incumbent government.
Atoll Times has also learnt that 21 people are expected to join the cabinet of Muizzu's government.
