The Attorney General's Office has expressed concern over the delay in the work of bills submitted by the government to Parliament.
The AG's office expressed concern over the delay in the work of bills in parliament. The agency is now in a deadlock after the Deputy Speaker refused to preside over the no-confidence motion against the Speaker.
The AG’s office said in a statement on Thursday evening that 30 important bills are pending at various stages of the parliament. They include:

Bills relating to the guarantee of workers’ rights (the Workplace Safety and Health Protection Bill, the Industrial Relations Bill).

In addition to the Infrastructure Planning and Management Bill, important bills related to business and public health

Bills to amend relevant laws relating to the administration of justice (to amend the rules on the composition of courts and the appointment of magistrates, to set a new code of conduct for judges, to review the living allowance of judges and to amend the rules for the evaluation of the quality of judges Bills)

Bills to strengthen the criminal justice system: Amendments to the Penal Code, the Criminal Procedure Act and the Transfer of Legal Aid in Criminal Cases Act
