President Muizzu concludes South tour
The President also signed MoUs to launch new projects in some islands.

President Mohammed Muizzu concluded his official visit to the southern atolls and is back in the capital.
The President left on Sunday for a five-day visit to four atolls. The atolls are:

Addu
-
Fuvahmulah
-
Gaafu Alifu atoll

Gaafu Dhaalu atoll
The President's Office said on Thursday evening that the President's visit has now concluded. The President listened to the concerns of the people and met with the people of various islands. He also signed MoUs to launch new projects in some islands.
The notable projects are:

Development of 12 resorts in the atoll and construction of an international airport in G.Dh. Thinadhoo at a cost of USD 400-600 million

Development of a tourism zone in Gaafu Alifu atoll with the construction of an international airport in G.A. Villingili.
