The body of the man who went missing after a barge capsized en-route to Male from Raa atoll Kudakurath Resort was found under the capsized vessel.
In a message shared with the media on Tuesday, MNDF said that the 2nd Squadron of the MNDF Male Area Command Coast Guard has launched a search operation as one of the five people on board the capsized barge Leo Pearl was still missing.
The victim is an expatriate. The MNDF said he was found under the barge. MNDF reported that his body was lifeless when he was found.
