Civil Aviation launches probe into seaplane incident
All the luggage and passengers were unloaded unharmed, the Civil Aviation Authority said.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has launched an investigation into the accident that occurred on Sunday when a TMA seaplane going to Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort from Seaside Finolhu Resort in Baa atoll crashed into the sea.
Civil Aviation issued an occurrence bulletin on the incident on Sunday.
The agency said:

Sunday's incident occurred when the seaplane damaged its right side float in trying to land in blustery weather

There were 11 passengers on board when the incident occurred at 3:30 pm on Sunday

They include three crew members
The aircraft was damaged in the incident, but no passengers or crew were injured. All the luggage and passengers were unloaded unharmed, the Civil Aviation Authority said.

The seaplane can be seen being shored with the help of the resort staff
TMA will also investigate the incident, the airline said on Sunday.
