The Ministry of Education has asked schools not to conduct school activities on Fridays.
The ministry sent a memo to schools on Monday, instructing schools to not bring in teachers to work on Fridays.
The ministry memo said that if special circumstances require an activity to be held on Fridays, teachers should be brought in after obtaining written permission from the ministry's school administration division.
The Ministry of Education has said that the health of teachers is one of the most important policies of the government.
The ministry has already asked school heads not to call teachers to work on Fridays to implement the policy.
However, some schools are not complying with the order, the ministry said.
For the sake of teachers’ health, the ministry has decided to keep the working hours of teachers in schools to a certain standard.
