Police warns of fake email impersonating chief
Police have advised people not to reply to such mails and not to click on the links within.

Police have warned against a fake email circulating in the name of the Commissioner of Police Ali Shujau.
Police spokesman, Assistant Commissioner of Police Ahmed Shifan said in an X post that some people have received emails that appear to be from the commissioner.

Shifan said the emails circulating are not from the police department.
“Sending such mails is a common tactic used by those who profit from fraud and scams,” Shifan said in his post.
Police have advised people not to reply to such mails and not to click on the links within.
