Two employees of Hanimadhoo International Airport were involved in a fight Friday evening.

Police said a fight was reported at the airport around 8 pm.

Police said one of the employees was injured in the fight and is being treated at the Hanimadhoo Health Centre.

Police added:

The two employees allegedly fought with items used in fights
The suspect has been taken into police custody

Police said they are investigating the incident.
