Two men were arrested for stealing electrical appliances from a house in capital Male Wednesday.

The two were arrested at 4:05 pm, police said in a statement.

Police identified them as:

Ismail Vishal, 30
Hussain Shaif, 32

Police did not give details of the items stolen. However, cases of stolen electrical appliances are occasionally reported.

Police said they are investigating the matter.
