2 soldiers in kidnapping case suspended
They have been suspended without pay until the investigation is completed.
Two MNDF soldiers have been suspended from their jobs in connection with the kidnapping of a man by a group of five in Male.
A case of kidnapping a Maldivian man for a month in May. This case was reported in June.

Two of the MNDF soldiers were: Mohamed Nafahu, 23, Fullmoon /K.Maafushi and Ahmed Zayaan, 24, Link /Thundi, L. Gan
When asked by the media to clarify the action taken against the soldiers in connection with the incident, the Information Officer Lieutenant Colonel Hussain Rasheed said the two soldiers had now been suspended.
“They have been suspended without pay until the investigation is completed,” he said.
Two soldiers from the five who have been arrested on charges of possession and use of drugs.
Although the two soldiers have no criminal records, the investigation has identified them as having links with criminals, police said on Wednesday. In addition, the police said:
