Maldivian Airlines, the national carrier of the Maldives, is set to host an airshow on Monday, marking the arrival of its newest aircraft, the Airbus A330.
The event will take place in key locations around the capital, Male, and the satellite town of Hulhumale, to celebrate the expansion of the airline’s fleet and its growing international operations.
The airshow will be held from 5-5:30pm on Monday, with activities taking place at locations across Male and Hulhumale. The key areas to witness the event include:

The highlight of the event will be the display of Maldivian Airlines’ new A330 aircraft, which is set to boost the airline's ability to expand its operations both regionally and internationally. The A330’s arrival will enable the airline to launch direct flights to four new destinations in China and lay the foundation for future growth into European markets.
Currently, Maldivian serves 16 destinations across the Maldives and operates international flights to Cochin and Trivandrum in India.
