Major (Retired) Mohamed Najah has been dismissed from his position as Managing Director of Fenaka Corporation.

The Privatisation and Corporatisation Board confirmed the decision in a post on X on Monday.

Najah was appointed to the role in December 2024. He was the second individual to serve as Managing Director of Fenaka under the current administration.

He assumed the position following the resignation of former Member of Parliament Muaz Rasheed. Reports at the time indicated that the resignation followed instructions from the government.

Najah’s dismissal follows the Local Council Elections and the referendum held on Saturday.

No further details were provided regarding the decision.
