MTCC seeks second extension for 2025 financial statements
MTCC stated that it requires more time to complete and publish its financial statements and reports.
The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company has requested a second extension to publish its financial statements for 2025, citing the need for additional time.
In an announcement issued on Thursday, MTCC stated that it requires more time to complete and publish its financial statements and reports for the fourth quarter of 2025, the annual financial statements for 2025, and the financial statements for the first quarter of 2026.
The company informed shareholders that it has submitted a request to the Capital Market Development Authority Maldives seeking approval to extend the publication deadline until 15 June.
MTCC had previously sought an extension from the CMDA to publish its fourth quarter and annual financial statements for 2025 by 10 of last month.
The company also published its third quarter financial statements for 2025 after the required deadline. At that time, a notice was issued to inform shareholders that an extension had been requested from the CMDA.
Under the CMDA’s Regulation on Continuing Disclosure Obligations of Issuers, the deadline for publishing the annual report for 2025 and the financial statements for the final quarter of the year was 31 January 2026.
