After a long gap, the national carrier is all set to resume its operations to Dharavandhoo airport in Baa atoll.

Maldivian suspended flights to Dharavandhoo due to Manta Air's commencement of operations there and the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a statement, Island Aviation, which operates Maldivian, said on Sunday that flights to Dharavandhoo airport will resume on June 15 with a daily service.

Tickets for these flights are now available for booking. Tickets can be purchased through the airline's website, mobile application, call centre and ticketing agents.

As Maldivian expands its domestic operations, it is also in the process of converting its remaining Dash-8 fleet into an ATR fleet.
