New directors appointed to 5 state companies

Earlier, the PCB had appointed the top executives of 21 government companies after the government took office.

The Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) has made changes to the boards of several government-owned companies.

On Thursday the PCB announced the changes that were made on Monday. The PCB has made changes to the boards of five companies.

The changes are:

  • Ibrahim Ziyau, Noovilaage/G.Dh. Faresmaathoda, has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Business Centre Corporation (BCC) 

  • MMPRC Managing Director Fathimath Thaufeeg, Jawahiruwaady/S. Maradhoo-Feydhoo

  • Dhanish Mohammed Ameen, M.a. Maandhoogedhekunuge/Male, Non-Executive Director, STO

  • Ibrahim Mahudhy, Handhuvarudheyge/ Fuvahmulah, has been appointed as Non-Executive Director of MACL

  • Mohammed Najil, H. Fashan/Male has been appointed as a non-executive director of Urbanco

  • Fathimath Mizuna Ali, M.a.Dheeb/Male, has been appointed as a non-executive director of Urbanco

Earlier, the PCB had appointed the top executives of 21 government companies after the government took office.
