STO to build 25-storey building in Male
The building will be constructed on land adjacent to the STO head office in the capital city.
State Trading Organisation (STO) has announced the construction of a 25-storey multipurpose building in Male.
The building will be constructed on land adjacent to the STO head office in the capital city.
The project will be carried out on contractor finance basis with 15% equity of STO.
Companies that have undertaken at least one such project worth $18 million or more are eligible to express interest in the proposed project, which includes engineering, procurement and construction (EPC). They must be the primary contractor who has implemented such a major project in the past five years and will not be accepted as a sub-contractor.
The deadline for expressions of interest expires on August 13.
A 25-storey commercial building is being constructed to strengthen the company's operations and expand its business.
The building will be constructed on 15,000 acres of land. The facilities said to be there are:
