WAMCO's social media accounts have shared a post welcoming Naif.
Ibrahim Naif, who was dismissed as Deputy Managing Director of Fenaka Cooperation, has been appointed as Deputy Managing Director of Waste Management Cooperation Limited (WAMCO).
The Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) has not yet announced the appointment of Naif as DMD of WAMCO.
However, WAMCO's social media accounts have shared a post welcoming Naif.
A total of three members of the Fenaka board, including Naif, were dismissed on August 8, but the PCB did not say why they were removed.
WAMCO’s former Deputy Managing Director Mohamed Abdul Kareem was appointed as the Deputy Managing Director of Fenaka.
Naif is an associate of Speaker Abdul Raheem Abdulla. Naif also served as the election agent for President Mohamed Muizzu during the presidential election.
