South Indian cinema’s 'king' Rajinikanth has arrived in Maldives for a holiday.

The Tamil actor's arrival in Maldives was announced on Friday by SriLankan Airlines. He arrived in Maldives on the airline's flight from Chennai, India.

The airline has released photos showing Rajinikanth arriving alone.

It is not known for how long he will stay in Maldives or the resort where he will be staying.

The 72-year-old Rajinikanth is an internationally renowned actor. The second-to-none star in India has acted in more than 160 films so far.
