Dhonfanu without power after generator break down
This is the third time this month that Fenaka service has been cut off in an island.

Power outages have been reported in the B. Dhonfanu due to a problem with the generators.
Fenaka recently said that the power outage was due to a problem with generators. Work is underway to resolve the issue, he said.
Fenaka said, in order to resolve the issue:

A technical team is on duty in Dhonfanu with the spare parts needed to repair the genset

An additional genset is being sought for Dhonfanu
The town council could not be reached for comment. However, a resident told Atoll Times that the entire island was blacked out after power outages at various times on Saturday.
This is the third time this month that Fenaka service has been cut off in an island. Water service was interrupted in connected islands of Addu on the seventh day of this month. Water service was restored two days later.
In addition, last Tuesday, water service was also interrupted in Lh. Naifaru.
