Hajj Corporation chief warns of scam calls in his name

He said the matter had been reported to the police.

Hajj Corporation Managing Director Mohamed Shakeel on Friday urged people to beware of scam calls in his name.

Shakeel said on X that he had received information that various people were being extorted in his name.

Noting the increase in scam calls, Shakeel said the calls are being made to extort large amounts of money.

He said the matter had been reported to the police.
