Bangladeshi MD Alamgir, who has confessed to having same-sex sex with men and filming it, was convicted of six other charges and sentenced to nine months and 13 days in prison on Thursday.
The Criminal Court found Alamgir guilty of six counts of same-sex acts as he had confessed to committing the crime at the preliminary stage and in the fast-track trial. The court sentenced him to nine months and 13 days in jail.

Alamgir had earlier pleaded guilty to all the three sexual charges levied against him in the court. He was convicted on all three counts and sentenced to seven months and six days in jail by court on 31 October.
On 29 September, the Criminal Court had convicted Alamgir on 40 counts of making pornographic videos and sentenced him to three years in jail.
