Police recover stolen items worth MVR 2 million in 24 hours

Police on Wednesday announced the recovery of items worth MVR 2 million stolen from a house in Male within 24 hours of the robbery.
According to a post on X by the police, the robbery occurred on Tuesday, and the recovered items have been returned to their owner.
A photo accompanying the post showed some of the recovered items, which included:

Approximately $3,000 in $100 notes and currencies from other countries.

Electronics such as Apple MacBooks, cameras, lenses, and mobile phones.
The recovery was made possible through the joint efforts of the Galore Police Investigation Unit and the Response and Patrol team.
