
Deadline extended for complaints on flat list
Verification process of flat recipients under the scheme has been completed, and a revised list of 1,820 eligible recipients has been published.
The deadline for submitting complaints regarding the list of flat recipients under the Gedhoruveriya scheme has been extended until the 15th of next month, the Housing Ministry announced Wednesday.
The ministry stated that it is reviewing complaints received after the release of the flat recipient list last month. It has provided an opportunity for individuals to submit complaints regarding the provisional list announced by the previous government.
According to the ministry, complaints from individuals declared ineligible in the verified list will be considered. If they can prove eligibility based on information available in government records, their cases will be reassessed. Such individuals have been asked to submit detailed complaints through the designated portal.
The deadline has been extended as government offices will be closed from Thursday until the 5th of next month.
