Security forces, SOEs to host ‘Eid Haveeru’ celebration
The event aims to provide an opportunity for families to come together, exchange Eid greetings, and participate in various activities.
Security forces and government-owned companies have organised a special event, Eid Haveeru, to take place in Malé on Eid day.
The event will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm across multiple locations, including Sultan Park, Islamic Centre Square, Republic Square, and the official jetty area.
The event aims to provide an opportunity for families to come together, exchange Eid greetings, and participate in various activities. The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has announced that Eid Haveeru will include entertainment activities, the distribution of Eid gifts, and various performances by artists.
Activities will also be organised for children, along with sports events and opportunities to meet notable individuals. The event is intended to promote social interaction and strengthen community ties.
