Police sergeant suspended after airport cigarette smuggling

In a statement, police confirmed that Yousuf Nazeer has been suspended from duty without pay as of Wednesday.
Some media outlets have reported that a significant quantity of cigarette cartons was involved in the smuggling attempt and that the items originated from a duty-free shop in the departure hall of VIA.
