A Maldivian student undergoing pilot training in the Philippines has been injured after coming into contact with the propeller of a training aircraft.
The student, Abdul Maniu, is currently enrolled at Airworks Aviation Academy. The incident occurred after he had completed a flight and was on the ground when he came into contact with the aircraft's propeller blade.

Maniu is receiving medical treatment for his injuries.
The Philippines hosts a significant number of international pilot trainees, including students from the Maldives and India.
