MTCC gets Kendhoo harbour project for MVR 119M
According to the ministry, the project is scheduled to be completed within 450 days.

The Ministry of Construction on Monday contracted Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) to carry out the B. Kendhoo port and harbour project for MVR 119.3 million.
According to the ministry, the project is scheduled to be completed within 450 days.
The scope of work includes dredging and excavation of 29,854 cubic metres from the harbour basin and channel, construction of a 112,016 cubic metre breakwater, a 278-metre revetment, installation of 10 mooring buoys, and construction of a jetty and ramp.
Additional works include building a 971-metre revetment with 62 metres on one side and 29 metres on the other, constructing nine harbour pavements and two side pavements, and laying a five-metre-wide pavement around the harbour.
The agreement was signed at a ceremony attended by Minister of Construction Dr Abdulla Muhthalib and MTCC Managing Director Ahmed Saud.
