Falaah buys Hulhumalé land for MVR 28.8M
According to his publicly released financial statement, Falaah also owns three plots of land in his native R. Innamaadhoo and one plot in Malé.

The Civil Court on Wednesday ruled in favour of Parliamentary Majority Leader Ibrahim Falaah in a case concerning his purchase of land in Hulhumalé Phase Two, confirming the validity of the transaction and transferring the title deed to his name.
Falaah, the Inguraidhoo MP, filed the petition on 3 August seeking confirmation of his purchase and amendment of the land registry. The court’s ruling stated that he had paid MVR 26.7 million for the land and an additional MVR 2.1 million as Goods and Services Tax (GST), bringing the total price to MVR 28.8 million. The plot measures 3,250 square feet.
According to his publicly released financial statement, Falaah also owns three plots of land in his native R. Innamaadhoo and one plot in Malé. These include:

Falaah stated on X on September 3 that he was in the process of acquiring land in Hulhumalé, adding that he had purchased three more plots in Innamaadhoo.
