The construction of 400 housing units in Fuvahmulah officially began on Tuesday.

The project, valued at MVR 469 million, was awarded to Flexink Pvt Ltd on 7 August 2023, with a completion period of 540 days. The development will include three-bedroom housing units.

The project was launched at a ceremony held during President Mohamed Muizzu’s visit to Fuvahmulah.

Housing Minister Dr Abdulla Muththalib inaugurated the construction work at the ceremony, which was attended by the President and senior government officials.
