4 foreigners held for selling resort waste oil
A search of a boat, dinghy, and pickup truck led to the recovery of 46 containers believed to have been used to store oil from resorts.

Four foreigners have been arrested in Hulhumalé for selling waste oil collected from resorts, in violation of Maldives Food and Drug Authority (MFDA) regulations.
According to police, the arrests were made following a tip-off that the suspects were unloading oil containers from a dinghy near the Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) container jetty last night.
Police said five Bangladeshi nationals were taken into custody during the operation. Four of them were later remanded for 10 days.
